Mataranka Homestead

We love Mataranka all the time, but the boys especially loved it this visit because Uncle Nathan (Whippy) was home. Uncle Nathan took them out fishing in the boat, did some whip cracking lessons, cooked up a mean meal of beer battered fish, took us to the river for a swim, and an extra big hit with the boys was riding his quad bike. 

Thermal pool swims, catching little turtles, bitter springs, snorkelling was a big part of our stay in Mataranka.
